This four-credit workshop course combines seminar discussions with project development, focusing on the integration of digital technologies in the processes of viewing, visualizing, and establishing spatial and formal relationships. It emphasizes the development of critical methodologies by encouraging operational connections between diverse techniques for inquiry and visualization. The course explores transitions between methods, as well as the potential for overlapping and combining various techniques and processes. Students are introduced to advanced technologies such as AI, computational tools, digital twins, extended reality (XR), reality capture, and the metaverse, while building upon graphic software skills acquired in the previous semester. This collection showcases the students’ final presentations for VIZ-3 during the Fall semester of 2024.
