				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After Dr. Auffrey&#8217;s presentation about the 10 principles for high density living, I remembered a TED talk that I watched a few months ago.  In this video William McDonough talks about a variety of design issues with regards to the environment and sustainability.  However, what really relates to this class and last night&#8217;s class in particular, is when he discusses a sustainable design for a Chinese city that he is working on with the Chinese government.  I know the video is a few years old now, but I haven&#8217;t followed up on this to see if the city is actually in development or not.  Hopefully you will find it interesting too!</p>
