The final workshops of the semester will cover rendering techniques in Vray over the course of two sessions. The first will go over basics on how to set up and use Vray for anyone unfamiliar with the software. The second will introduce advanced techniques, including HDRI lighting, depth of field, and advanced texturing. Some knowledge of Rhino will be required, though lessons learned here can directly be applied to Vray for Sketchup as they function the same.
This workshop will be taught by Michael Rogovin. Michael is a Master of Architecture student here at DAAP and one of the most talented render-ers around. Make sure to check out some of his work here.
