Surfaces/Bounding Box

Bounding Box- solve oriented geometry bounding boxes

I selected an exhibition done for the Buck House by Lalvani Studio as a source of inspiration for my interior space.  Though this project doesn’t create an inhabitable space, I am really drawn to the spherical shape and the idea of reflection and incorporation of organic forms that this exhibit embodies.  The golden sphere is hung directly over a bed of pink flowers, and the parametric shapes on the sphere’s surface cause pink light to be reflected and shot in all directions.  The perfectly symmetrical form of the ball contrasts the organic form of the flowers, while the golden hue of the ball contrasts the flowers’ bright pink coloration.  Overall, I am most intrigued by this project’s use of reflection, contrast, and color, and plan to incorporate these elements into my design.
